Sometimes I'll open a table in Access in datasheet mode, and manually update the same field in that table in multiple records. Whenever Access detects a "sequence" to the data I'm entering from one record to the next, it automatically fills in the next record with the next value in the sequence. How do I turn off/disable this feature?

Thanks!

Walt

The BEST way to keep this from happening is to use a FORM for data entry instead of opening the table directly. You can create a form that opens in datasheet view and it won't auto fill.
