How to turn a nice perform logger passive to active? If possible…

In many scenarios, passive loggers are a headache trying to record some type of calls i.e. internal calls across company branch offices.
Although network tweaking can help to get the records, the definitive solution for that is the active recording.

Can one in nice turn a passive logger into an active one? I mean, re-use the channels licenses? (since the active and passive logger uses the same logger software as far I know) so that after a reinstall and a configure (and the necessary drivers on the PBX – CTI etc) you can have active recording.

Thanks, and excuse me if my questions reveals some ignorance…

Hi IPOpotamus

You will need a new config file for your VoIP logger. There are different config files depending on the type of PABX you have. It is important that you get the correct config files for your integration. You need to get new config files from nice before you start.
