hi iv got a network of win xp pro machines managed by a single nt4 machine (old skool!) anyhow my users are having a laf with the amount of rubbish they have in their roaming profiles (pics, mp3s, videos... all sorts!)
i want a method of deleting stuff from their profile and it not all coming back as soon as they log on or off of a client machine. maybe an option that if the server is available it users the server copy, and if its not (for example a user with a laptop and off site) it will revert to the local copy...
at the moment i can delete all of a users holiday photos, but as soon as they log on their pc, the local copy from the pc is back on the server...
any ideas would be very welcome!

A lot of times bloated profiles are also due to temporary internet files and user temp files. Try cleaning those up also

how do i do that (sorry to sound like an idiot!!)
