Hi,

I am new to the use of the LOOKUP.INI file in Goldmine.
I want to update field KEY2 with a new value based on a lookup and match list of values for KEY5. I populated the LOOKUP.INI as follows:

[KEY2]
LOOKUP1 = KEY5
DOSYOU = LEVEL1
DOSYWT = LEVEL2
BSDTYU = LEVEL3

and so on ...

How do I get Goldmine to process the file?

Thanks

Hi,

I figured it out!
1. I populated the LOOKUP.INI with the desired values.
2. I created an Automated Process using the Automated Process Event Wizard
3. Assgined it Immediate Trigger
4. Chose Update Field for Action and Selected the field to update and selected the Look-up a replacement value in lookup.ini in the Options tab.
5. Executed the Process while attaching the new Track to All Contact Records.

That is good for a one-time process, however, for instantaneous gratification you must have the [AutoUpdate] section of the Lookup.ini completed correctly. Maybe something like this:

[AutoUpdate]
Key5 = Key2
