A department of my company has two PSTN phones with the numbers +82402510086 and +82402510087,but now they moved to another place, and they want to keep their phone numbers.
That is to say,I want to link the two telephone lines to one of the cisco routers and then connect to their new office through internet.
Now I have some cisco 2600 and 3600 routers, and some NM-2V with FXS and FXO interface cards.
Could there be someone please tell me wheather it is possible to keep the former numbers with my devices on-hand, and how?

Thanks indeed.

You should be able to do this by number expansion or a translation pattern

Are these anolog number or DID? If they are analog do you have a T-1 or PRI with DID on them? If you have DID capable lines, you can always route them wherever you want. If they are analog lines and you have an Internet connection between your facility and thier facility, then you can easily convert them to IP using 2 FXO ports and deliver them to the other facility using 1 or 2 FXS ports. The 2600 and 3600 will work quite nicely for this. In fact, it is overkill.

Other options:
Pick them over to Vonage or AT&T CallVantage. You can then take them wherever you want.

It is what it is!!

Thx,now they have two analog lines and the Internet connection between two sides.
