How to transfer an email without Blackberry account yet?

I have a Blackberry 7230 that is not signed up for email service. We use it strictly as a prop (for TV shows, etc.)

I have a show that wants to have a photo come up on the screen. I thought I would just transfer an email message with a PDF attachment over to the inbox on the unit -- the only way I can think of to transfer a file to the Blackberry desktop.

But it doesn't seem to want to sync up with my PC's email without an email account set up for the Blackberry.

Does anyone know a way around this? A way to load a file/email on to the Blackberry w/o LIVE email?
