Hi,

How to track user actilvity in Open server 5 and Sco Open Unix 8.0 ? Is there any log file that records system activity & error messages ?

Tony, still Term problem is unresolved. any further suggestion ?
Bob

Possibly system accounting may be what you want? man pacct

Error messages from what? If app, probably no (unless by some miracle it actualy was written by someone smart enough to use syslogd). System error messages already go to wherever syslog conf tells them to.

pacct whon't help you if you want to record what they are doing in an app, although "script" can capture EVERYTHING they do.

On the TERM issue, how about some more info? What app is this? What do you know about how it handles terminals- termcap or terminfo- etc.
