How to terminate xp setup?

Upgrading Win2k Pro to xp pro w/sp1a, setup can't find a file (nt5inf.cat) and I'd like to terminate the setup and boot Win 2k. Setup is now in "Preparing installation" phase.
How do I stop booting into setup when I reset the machine.

I believe you can hit the Esc key, but the response would not be immediate.

You will be given the choice to revert your OS after the initial setup phase is completed. You will be given the opportunity to revert the OS in fact after the setup is completed as well.

You may have to edit the Boot.ini file to remove the XP Setup from being the Default installation.
