Hi all,
So once again everything I had open and was working on was rudely closed in the middle of the night when MS did it's updates. Stupidly I had recently tried "Automatically install updates", instead of the other two more benign options.

However in previous systems I simply recall and annoying message that kept reminding me I need to restart. So instead of the message (which, compared to having all your work figuratively wiped off the table and onto the floor in a mess) I now get the reboot.

Is this my only option if I've chosen "automatically install"? And doesn't anyone else think it's rather rude? These weren't "critical" or even "important", they were just "recommended" updates.
Thanks
