Greetings all,
We are using Windows 2000 Server, and we have the default password change setup for every 90 days, but what I would like to know is how can I check to see if a user has changed their password either at the 90 day prompt or whenever they change it?
Thanks,
Richard F.

Tushkahoma,

Open a command prompt and type:

net user <username> /domain

This will give you what you what and more.

Not only can you specify an expiration time, you can specify the time required to elapse before a user can change their password again. This prevents users from changing thier password, then emediately changing it back to what it was.

The only way I know to see if a user has changed his/her password is if the flag is set to change it on the next logon (the flag will clear when changed).

Start, Help. You'll be surprised what's there. A+/MCP/MCSE/MCDBA

Download and load acctinfo.dll from Microsoft and you will have the Additional Account Info tab in ADUC.

Will acctinfo.dll run on Server 2000, I was reading where this is a mmc plugin for Server2003.

Slightly off topic, but I use a command-line tool called
"Network Account Password Agë" to dump out a list of the password ages of all domain accounts every six months or so and then import it into an excel spreadsheet and sort by age - can reval some interesting things...
