is there anyway to provide visual indication of the current state of a user variable? Short code shows the variable when you dial it, a programmed button changes it but no indication.

It doesnt matter how many times you post this. There is no stock way to do that. You may be able to cobble something together but you would have to experiment. If you can trigger hunt group enable then you could put a phone as a member of a hunt group or something like that.

Playbaby play.

Cheat, piggy back on something else. Create a callflow that set the variable and then enables hunt group membership for the group MyVariable. Use a HGEna button relabelled MyVariable to indicate the status. Think lateral, creative, try things and in the process learn things.

Nor do you and you're too lazy to try anything or experiment apparently!!!!

Again...there is no stock way to do this. You will have to try to experiment to accomplish this however it will not be supported.

When you type :"So you don't know???" It comes across as demeaning. So..how go your experiments?

demeaning, harden up man! i will experiment when i get a moment, i will try and create a vm call flow that chnages the variable and then has a next/postdial or whatever action that changes the state of a dummy group. how would you do it....sorry sizbut.
