I'm configuring a 3Com Wireless 8760 Access Point with the following settings:

Authentication: Open
Encryption: Enabled
Cipher Mode: AES (Use AES as WPA/WPA2 Multicast cipher mode)
WPA Pre-shared Key (PSK)

I want it to be running in WPA2, for obvious reasons, but how can I confirm? When I connect via the windows wireless tool, it shows up as WPA...but i'm assuming this could still mean WPA2?

Thanks

never mind, it only seems to show up as WPA2 on the newer devices...obviously due to compatibility.

thanks anyway...
