How to tell if a workstation is running local btrieve

Does anyone know how to determine this? The user is on Pervasive SQL 2000i.

Are you wanting to check this from within an application or just in general?
BUTIL -VER will give you version running (if any).
You can issue a VERSION Btrieve API call to get the engine information as well.
You can also look in the system tray to see if the Workgroup engine is running.
