Howdy All! . . .

In a backup routine for several db's, I don't want to save unless modifications were made (I thought I had an API in my library for this).

[blue]How can I tell if a file has been modified before saving?[/blue]

Also . . . is there a way to change the [blue]date/time[/blue] stamp of a file?

How are ya [blue]PHV![/blue] . . .

Am already aware of [blue]FileDateTime[/blue]. In fact I use it in a schema where I compare date/time of the current save to the previous save. If they match I delete the latest. The problem is it requires saving first. I'm trying to get the equivalent of incremental backup in a more direct way.

I was digging heavy into this early last year and came up empty. It would be a good thing if Ms.A would include and available flag for this . . . OH Well . . . What can I do?

Many thanks for the assist!
