how to take out one color

hello.. I am not a PS pro... Here's what I want to do.

I have a picture. I want to know, let's say there is a blue color value that I want to take out of the entire picture. Is there a way that I can take out a particular color out of the picture? No matter where it is in the picture, it will be taken out with one move?

Use the replace color adjustment

Or if you are using the magic wond set the tollerance level really high, but enlarge the picture to like 200% prior to making your selection
