How to Sysnchronize two different Databases?

Hi,

I have a SAP R/3 system with DB2 database on Mainframe and PeopleSoft system with Oracle database on UNIX.

A transaction entered by the PeopleSoft user has to be instantly updated in SAP R/3.

Can anubody explian step by step procedure?
