I’ve been working with LAMP (linux apache mysql php) apps some years ago as amateur, notwithstanding I’ve ever kept the question of how to synchronize two applications one local one remote; when synchronizing the logic files it’s a snap (I do it with total commander and just overwrite) but synchronizing the Databases has always been a pain or headache, one friend told me one day “use web services” but it was Chinese for me.
Now that we have so many tools do you suggest me a way to synchronize apps?
I want to work and test on my local WAMP server, and quickly export changes to remote.
OR I want to make live backups of my remote LAMP app into my “safe” windows PC at home.
