How to synchronize subreports with main report

I just need to fix this one irritating problem and I'm done. I have a report about Patients. For each Patient, there is a subreport about the drugs they take, and another subreport(in the Footer because we want this to appear on every page) about the Labs for each patient. I can't get the bloody Lab subreport to sync correctly with the right Paitent. I can't find an option anywhere in the reports section or properties that says linked child or master. I'm willing to send the file to anybody to look at who can fix it, it's only 360K. Thanks.

I have tried something similar, and the subreport in the footer synchronised properly when I had only one person per page (which I guess you have). I used the wizard to create the footer subreport. As a thought, have you tried using the dropdown list of form controls to select the subform? I often find I have selected not the subreport but the report contained by the subreport. It is the subreport, not the contents, that has linked fields. I hope you understand what I am saying, because I'm not sure that I do!
