Looking for advice on how to synchronize a 3rd party Directory Server (in this case eDirectory from Novell) with the Access Manager directory server (in this case iPlanet) all on UNIX. We want to grab user ID's and passwords from eDirectory and pass them to the Access Manager namespace. Need advice on eDirectory extraction, how to reformat dumped file so it contains Access Manager Batch Maintenance commands, how to schedule the whole ETL process, and advice on full load versus incremental load. Also interested in grabbing email addys from Lotus Notes. Finally, how to create a trusted signon with all of this.

only microsoft active directory and SUN ONE Directory server are supported.

Cristen, thanks for the reply. I already know that eDirectory is not supported by Cognos. However, it is possible to use the Access Manager Batch Maintenance commands to feed user profile info into the namespace. It is also possible to use the Access Manager SDK to create a trusted signon with a 3rd party LDAP. I have seen evidence of other people attempting this on other discussion boards and am hoping to find someone who has succeeded. Any ideas?
