thanks!

In visual c++ U still work in c++ ;-)))
U want to get some info 'bout creating resources visually, or bout the MFC or ??? I'm now programming a few months in Visual C++, there before I've been programming in C++ using gcc, the biggest problem for me are all the MFCs, because I always used just text mode, etc.

Everything you learn now that is straight C++ will remain the same in Visual C++. WHat you get with visual c++ is a bunch of Microsoft Foundation Class that are really confusing in the beginning but once you get used to em they can be quite handy. Dont have any fears about the transition... mine was smooth

Its impossible, once you try one compiler, you're in it for life... life I tell you! <sob>

VisualC++ is C++. As result, just do it. The difference, is what you begin from creating a project, and after it add/insert source and header files, libs,... John Fill
