In crystal report how can I supress the message
"Unable to access First Record" , if a subreport doesn't fetches any record. The subreport is linked with the primary report on a Primary key field.
The rest of the report is okay , but it doesn't opens up if the query on which the subreport is based fetches no records.

Sounds like there is a problem with your table, not the subreport. A subreport will not give you that message if no records are returned, it will be blank.

Followup. Are you passing an ADO recordset to the sub? Or is it based on a table? What version of CR are you using? How are you calling the report (VB, ASP,...)?
