hi

create a group base on your display resutl
like

group 1 could be c1

1. Right click the c1 field in your detail section
2. Choose Format Field
3. Select Common tab if it is not already selected
4. Select the "Suppress if Duplicated" check box
5. Click Ok and Preview yor Report

Hi Guys...

Thanks for the reply...But i failed to achieve it.

But i want to display the result in the detail level. Not with by creating the Group. If i create the Group then the format of the report is changed.

Also the option 'Suppress If Duplicated' for the single column. i want to do it for the column c1, c2, c3 together.

Pls help me. Thank u...

Did it work for the c1 column? If it did, just repeat the same steps for the other detail fields.

Hi Brian

I use the group option on c1, c2, c3. But it will change the report layout like
10
Clerk
GradeA
Anto 1000
Maxe 2000

I want to display like a row. Not like hierarical formalt.
10 Clerk GradeA Anto 1000
Maxe 2000

Without using group, can i write the formula in the option 'Suppress If duplicated'??? Give me hints...

Thank u

Try this with your current report structure:

1. Right Click to the left of your report canvas where it says Group 1 Header.
2. Choose Section Expert.
3. For each Group Header, choose the option "Underlay Following Sections"
4. Click OK and Preview the Report
