How to Suppress Drilldown

Hello !!

We have a report that has multiple subreport all of which runs in one go.

We need to suppress(disable) drilldown at the first grouplevel. As you know, Drilldown is available automatically at each group level. DoubleClicking on Drilldwon fields causes the subreport to restart causing problems with the report structure in the Infoview.

We are using Crystal XI, BO Enterprise XI on Oracle 9.2

Any inputs on this is appreciated.

Perhaps you can make use of the fact that placing group fields in text boxes prevents drilldown.

In the section expert - go to the Supress X+2 button of the sections you do not want to show - then write the formula: DrillDownGroupLevel = 1

If it is true - the section will be supressed.

Another way is to place a blank text box over the top of the group name field.
