I want to suppress the row in a Crosstab report

Consider the following Example
Region Quarter1 Quarter2 Quarter3 Quarter4
South 1000 100 200 300
North 1500 200 300 200
West 500 200 100 100
East 1000 500 400 400
Total 3000 1000 1000 1000

Here i want to suppress the Region "East" but
this row values must be included in Total

Thanks in advance

I don't believe this is possible in an inserted crosstab. You could do this with a manual crosstab by using a section suppression on {table.region} = "East", and then inserting a sum on each column formula (which would include suppressed values).

A Cross-Tab does math correctly, if you want to produce bad data (totals that don't match the elements) within a Cross-Tab, you'll need to create a manual Cross-Tab.

There are various posts here on this, and I believe that kenhamady.com has an article on it too.

This is version dependent, which you forgot to post.

Here's a related topic for CR 9:

Good luck with it.
