Hello,

I have been practicing on XP and Win2k server at home. I have a Win2k domain with one desktop. I have another XP laptop but is part of a different domain at school. I do have the administrator-equivalent ID and password my XP laptop. Can I remotely stop services from my win2k server with these credentials and if so how? Thank you.

I don't think so you can stop services remotely with your existing laptop credentials as it's not a part of your domain at home. You will have to join your laptop to your domain at home and then you should be able to login to your laptop as a domain admin and do what ever you want to do.
