how to stop rounup decimal values

when I enter numeric data wtih decimal (30.50) to my access database (access 2000) tha data automatically saved as 31. But I need to save it as 30.50. Please tell me how to do it.

Hi,
Try setting the particular field's Format property to Fixed and the Decimal Places property to the number of decimals you want. Hope it helps. Let me know what happens.

Also see to it that the particular field's Type proprty is set to Single or Double ( definitely not to anyy of the Integer types). Hope it helps. Let me know what happens.
