Windows Me, MS Proxy Client 2.0, remote network via TCPIP.
I connect to a remote network via MS Connection Manager using an IP redirect service. I only need MSProxy client enabled to access the Internet via the network's Proxy Server, and it all works quite well.
My problem is that whenever MSProxy Client is enabled, Windows dials out on start-up (even before the desktop is loaded) and rather than use the MS Connection Manager to access the remote network, it uses my personal IP dialup connection for whatever it is looking for, and which, obviously, it never finds.
How do I stop the dialout on boot-up when MSProxy Client is enabled?
Everything works fine when it is disabled, except I cannot access the Internet through the remote network proxy server.
