I have a table which contain a person's full name. When I run a report to display all the names, those names which have an alias sign(@) in their names automatically changes to an email link. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I've trid unchecking the Read As HTML checkbox in Format Objects in both Designer and BusinessObjects5.0 but both don't seem to work.

How to stop data with '@' from changing to email link

I have no direct solution in the sense of the proper setting , but the following does the trick like a workaround:
Replace(<variable>,"@"," @"
, which of course introduces a space in the string, but does remove the link appearance... T. Blom
