How to stop Arcserve from Cleaning Database ???

When running Arcserve backup jobs, it formats the tape and then states it's Cleaning the Database.

What does this Cleaning process do ?????

When I look in the Database at previous backup & restore records there is no information shown for them and only the most recent backup has file information stored ???

What's going on guys ????

Folks...

Ignore this problem.. I was lacking mental reasoning when I wrote this.

The Database cleans itself because when you insert a previously used tape, it removes the details for that old tape as it's being rewritten with another tape i.d.
