HOW TO START UP THE SYSTEM UNIX V, AND A COBOL PROGRAM TOGETHER???

when the operating system is going multiuser state you can do many things , one of them is start up a program that can run in background or redirect the output to a terminal.
How can you do that?
In the /etc/rc2.d directory you can create a file with the name S89Cobolprog take care that the " S " must be Uppercase
and inside the file please put a line that starts your program for example:
/usr/bin/colol -x /tmp/myfile &
If what you are asking is how to put the output of my command that starts my application to a terminal and that the terminal will be in interactive mode , that is a good question and i do not know how to do that.
