Hi there!
I want NNM to start an application each time a trap is received. But NNM seems to queue its exe-commands: the new instance of my application does not start until I shut down the first one.
My application is registered in an own file in the "trustedCmds.conf" directory, but only like this:

testApplication=C:\\test\\test.exe argument

Any idea?

By now I found a realy dirty solution:
my application now starts another instance of itself and then exits itself, thus telling OpenView: "There is no other instance running".

If you have a better idea please let me know!!!

Eddie

That's not a dirty solution, it's the one I was about to suggest!

Seriously... Your solution seems fine, and it *is* what I would have done. Mike
