Hi all,
I have a backup job runing every night at 20:00 on a Novell server. Many times my collegues are working on the server they restart the server without launching Arcserve (It is done intentionaly). The next day I came to start Arcserve,I tape: astart. The job of the day before starts automatically which I don't want so I have to cancel..
I'm looking for a way to start Arcserve without starting the previous job?
Thanks
Noor

Edit the asconfig.ini and look for the CSNLM line which loads arcserve.nlm

append -I to the end of it and save the file.

This will start up arcserve next time with the job scheduler inactive. IE no jobs in the queue will be processed.

You can set it back to active manually by using on of the options near the top of the job scheduler screen on the server console (can't remember what it is off the top of my head).
