Hi all,
Does anyone know how to use SSL in a telnet like login session.
I amusing BSD 4.2 and have read much about the enhanced security fetures when using SSL login. From what i can make out i need to create two sets of 'keys' one on the host and one on the client. Is this correct? or can i connect using SSL without having to do this.
The thing is, i connect to my host from a number of locations, some of which i will not have access to the main server to add these keys to /etc/..., so you see, this will only be good if i own/have access to all the PC's which i don't.
So, if the above is true, is there any secure /encryption options i can use with telnet WITHOUT having to load xtra software/libs or setup keys?
OR is there a way to use SSL without 'keys'?
