The case I’ve met now is following:
My boss ask me to split the cube we use now!
Because the cube update is too slowly(the cube size now is about 5~600MB)
How to split this cubes right now and do not interrupt its routine job.
Can transformer6.6 & windos2K to adjust this request?
Thanks for help!!

I would just split the 2Kthru2K5 cube by date. Just change a copy of the model queries to be for example 2000-2002, and change a second copy of the model queries to be 2003-2005. Then you have 1 cube named 2Kthru2K2, and another named 2K3thru2K5. You should then end up with 2 cubes at 300MB.
There are many ways to split this up though. Instead of by date, investigate splitting up by product, or maybe eliminating a couple of years, and keeping a historical cube, ect..
