Hi

I just upgraded from visual studio 6 to .net recently but I've noticed that it is a lot slower... This is taking a toll on my productivity

Any suggestions to speed it up?

Thanks

The most obvious way: Install additional memory.

Oh yes --- add RAM. Lots and lots of RAM.
(I'm at 256mb and I have to reboot a couple of times a day -- going to 512mb as soon as IT support gets me more)

After that, look at going to hardware RAID 0 striping via a ATA RAID adapter (or chipset on the motherboard, like a Highpoint or Promise)

Chip H.
