I have a report which has a grouping by Account ID. I want to show the totals of records associated with each account, so I have a running total which displays the data fine. Now I want to sort this data by highest to lowest based on the records.... how do I do this?
thanks

As far as I know, running totals are not available for sorting. Why are you using running totals--are you only counting records conditionally? Or do you have duplicate data? Is it possible you could insert summaries on your data instead? Then you could use TopN to sort based on the summary fields. It would help if you provided more information.

Definitely look at a TopN report, group by Account ID, and set the TopN amount to something well beyond the number of groups you have, such as 500.
