Hello,
I have a field called Month. They select January, February, March, etc..
In the report it is placing it in alpha order, so Feb, Jan, Mar! How do I have it show in order by month. Is it because I have it showing the whole name of the month? Please Help! Do I have to change something in the query?

Thank you!
AJ

Hi AJ

Create a new field in your table design, set it to a Data Type of Number. Click on the Lookup tab, set Display Control to ComboBox, Row Source Type to Value List, and Row Source to 1,January,2,February,3,March ... and so on. Make sure Bound Column is set to 1, Column Count is set to 2, and Column Widths is set to 0cm;2cm or something similar.

Go through your records updating this field to equal your existing month field. Then you can delete your existing month field from your table if you want.

Use your new field on your report, and if you sort it, it will sort in ascending order, starting with 1 (which signifies January) and ending with 12 (December).

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much! It worked great!
