Has anyone out here done a silent removal of all clients in a network. We have norton 7.0 to 7.6 on about 700 NT machines throughout the network. The users are not administrators of their own machines. We have tried logon scripts gotten hit by the authority. Somewhere I read that there was a way to uninstall from the Norton System Console. I hope this makes sense. Doug Strong

Well, on page 146 of the user manual for Symantec AV 8.0:

"You should uninstall Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition clients using the uninstallation program that is provided by Symantec. You must uninstall the Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition client from the local computer..."

That being said, if you're upgrading I'm wondering if you could just install over the prior versions. This can always be hit or miss, but with 700 workstations!... :) J.R. Juiliano
