How to show Total only in Cross-Tab

Hello all,

I am using Crystal 2008.
I am trying to create a report using Cross-Tab like below:
TOTAL YTD QTY TOTAL MO QTY SHIP 1 MO SHIP 2 MO
CUSTOMER

The Cross-Tab will be grouped by the ship-tos. Each Ship-To column represents the monthly quantity. I am trying to figure out how I can get the YTD quantity for all ship-tos for the customer without actually showing the breakdown YTD qty per ship-to. The only way I know how that somewhat works is to suppress the ship-to YTD quantity breakdown and then size it into very small. This at least, removes the blank space left by the suppressed YTD qty breakdown fields. Only the Monthly qty needs to have a breakdown. The problem with doing like what I am doing above is when I export this to Excel, the suppressed fields create blank columns in Excel.

Help!

Hi,

Since you expect to export to Excel anyhow, I'd export the resultset from the query prior to doing the cross tab.

Then do the aggregations in Excel. Piece of cake! Forum68
