Hi guys,

I am making a monitoring report in ACCPAC and i need the show the quantity on hand, quantity salesorder and quantity onorder.

I already figure out how to get the history of quantity on hand as of date(current or previous)using ICHIST table, meaning i can show the quantity for the current date or previous date.
But my problem is how to get the quantity salesorder or the quantity ordered in "order entry?" Is there any way to track the sales order or the quantity ordered in order entry?

this is the format of the report
ex.
parameter date: 1/1/2000

as of date: 1/1/2000

item number quantity on hand quantity salesorder
item 1 100 150
item 2 100 150

let's say I have an additional 100 quantity ordered for item 1 for 1/3/2000.

so the quantity salesorder would be "250" right?

but then what if i want to see the salesorder for previous date like 1/1/2000. what would i do? the quantity salesorder would be 250. and not 150.

Hope you guys can help me on this one, Thanks in advance!

Regards,

It isn't clear to me what you want. Nor to anyone else, I assume, since you've got no replies.

It sounds as if you might want selective totals, which would mean a Running total. The use of Crystal's automated totals is outlined at FAQ767-6524.

Hi,

first of all, thanks for the reply. second, yes I am looking for totals per date. Lastly, I have been told that I can't the values that I've been looking for. They said that there's no such thing as history of sales order and purchase order.

I'm glad that someone like you replied to my question. Regarding your Guide in automated totals, I would say that it's good to know and understand different techniques when using totals in crystal.

Are u using SQL commands when using crystal reportS? or just dragging and dropping database fields in the form?

Thanks and regards!

Sorry, I still don't follow what you're after.
