Is there a way to combine a list of all recent updates to any of th sites or subsites on my intranet and get them, to automatically appear as hotlinks in a recent updates list on the front page. I was wondering about RSS but not sure

Thanks

You can probably create a filtered view.

Go into the list settings create a new view and filter it using the modified date.

In the filter section choose modified date for the "show the items when" field.
In the next field select "Is greater than"
and on the third field try typing [Today]-30

This should show you any list items that have been modified within the last 30 days.

Next go to your homepage, and you should be able to find your list as a webpart. Add your list as a webpart to your homepage and choose to use your new view in the webpart settings.

Hope that helps.
