How to show photos on report

Hi,

I have a new requirement.Say, there is a table having information related to an employee like name, ID , Email etc.There is folder on the system which has photos of the employees. The photo files are named based on employee ID. I want that the report should show EmployeeID, name, Email etc along with the photo. Meaning that report should pick the employee data from table and at the same time it should pick the photo of related employee from the local photo file.

How should I do?Can anyone help me.

Hi,
If you have the sample reports installed ( or available to install), many of them use pictures..a look at those would probably show you some methods to use..


PS- would provide more details, but I do not have them at hand right now..

Have a look at faq767-3609 where I discuss several ways to do this.

CR 11 includes this as one of it's new features.
CR8.5 or later can use my COM driver or try some of the other approaches.
