Hi everybody,

I need help for showing my grand total on the page header.
Any help is appreciated. I have a formula field which calculates the difference between debit and credit. The value is correct when it is on the report footer but when I copy the same formula on the page header it gives me the first value of the debit field. Please help me.

Thanks,
Hamida

You can do this by using a subreport that is essentially a copy of the main report and place that in the header, suppress all non-related items and all the user will see is the grandtotal in the header section. Another option is using grouping, where you just create 1 group, and use the group summary value as your grandtotal and place that in the group header.(evaluation time issues are what prevent you from doing this with a normal grandtotal).

What is your formula?

You can put most grand totals onto the page header (or any section for that matter) using a formula, but NOT if you need to use running totals. You may be using running totals and you may not NEED to use them. If you are using running totals, tell us why you are using them and we will see if there is an alternative.
