For example, I've got a Team site and a Client site for a project. I want to be able to create and modify documents on the team site in a library. Once they are complete, I want to show them to the client but I do not want the client to see incomplete documents. So, I'd like to be able to share these documents with a document library on the Client site.

Right now, we have to download the doc locally then upload to the doc lib on the Client site. Isn't there an easier way to do this??

Is there, possibly, a way to have documents in the Client site library that are not visible to the Client (who has his own login) until we (the team) mark it as complete? Or, better yet, only visible to the team until marked, then available to anyone that comes to the site.

Thanks!

Hello,

Sounds like you would need a kind of Work flow webpart/system. There are a load of 3rd party systems out. Just search for Document workflow sharepoint and you will find lots. There might also be tips&tricks on how you can create your own more simplified workflow.

But by default, it will be hard to achieve what you want to do.

Regards,
Thomas
