We'd like to provide data, voice, power, and vga connections to a table in a conference room. The cables would be run in a floor groove to one end of the room where the plasma would be mounted. Are there distance limitations on the VGA, or suggested connector types, etc? Does anyone have any suggestions for accomplishing this?

Thanks.

Is the plasma a TV or a monitor? There are devices to extend computer output to remote monitors or TVs. A google search should pull up more than you could ever want. If you give us more info you will get more precise answers.

yeah you never said how far the pc will be from the display.
we need to know that before anything.

The display will have a VGA connector on it. Most likely it will be LCD. I'm more concerned about the VGA pass-through on the table, and how that connects to the display. It sounds like our distance of 20-30 ft will not be a problem.

Thanks for your responses.

The connection will depend on what equipment you deceide to use and should be explained in the instructions for that equipment.

sounds to me like you need to hire somebody..IMHO enough insight has been provided to move forward.
