I am working on setting up my website. Here is my situation:

- I want to setup a domain ( - fake name) on my own IIS 5 web server;
- I have a cable connection from Adelphia, but the port 80 is blocked. I can use port 81;
- IIS is setup to host (in port 81)
- Router is redirecting http service to port 81
- is accessable (in LAN at the time - haven't test from outside yet);

Here is the Question:

How can I get rid of :81 at the end of domain name. I know that the default http service goes port 80, but it gets to be a way to do it - make work as it uses port 80.

Any idea??? Thanks!

Jack

Tested from outside. is working, and website is accessable.

Now question is how to get rid of :81 at the end of the domain name.

It's not about whether you can do it or not, it's about HOW
OK, Let's Do It !!! [pipe]
