How to Setup filtering

We have a need to impliment some filtering feature in our reports. We want that based on users who log on to our web based reporting site, we should show them information that is only specific to them?

Currently we are using Crystal Reports 8.5 and Crystal Enterprise.

Any ideas how this should be done.
