Hi,

Does anyone know what settings need to be set/enabled on a BCM 400 in order for it to accept IP phones (in particular IP2002 model)?

We have two IP client licences (seen in Resources\Application Resources screen) but when setting the IP phone config at the phone level it doesn't connect to the BCM.

All settings on the phone are correct as we are using the same settings as previously used on another BCM 400 unit (one failed and we replaced it with a like-for-like congfig) so I'm wondering if there is a simple setting that I need to enable. I've tried setting the phone - S1 Port - to those listed in the Resources\Port Ranges\Signalling section but no joy.

Any ideas?

Try setting the phone to partial DHCP and see if that does anything....when I experience this problem with any Nortel IP set, I make sure the phone is set to partial DHCP and reset the phone and it usually connects and asks: New DN?
