How to: setup Auto-attendant

I am trying to setup an auto-attendant.I setup one extension attached to a physical phone to be used as an auto-attendant extansion. On voicemail, I setup that extension as an auto-attendant. When I dialed the number, it rings but gave me this voice message "The auto-attendant is not available, please disconnect...".

How can I setup an auto-attendant? Please help.

For the audix AA to work, a greeting needs to be recorded. It sounds like a greeting has not been recorded yet.

Is it?

Does the mailbox number match the extension number of the phone you wish to be used as the auto attendant or not? There is a difference in routing when the numbers do not match through "change auto attendant routing"
