What is the basic process of setting up a BCM 200 3.7 to use IP phones? I have the analog phones working fine and now want to add 3 of the IP phones. When I plug the IP phones in, it keeps trying to find the server but fails.

Thanks!

you need to point the phone to the server, it is called the

S1 address. also registration needs to be turned on in the

bcm under ip telephony.

you need a keycode in the BCM as well.

Let me know what of these youve done so far.

The only thing I have done is to put in the keycode for 4 seats. I do not see the registration function under IP telephony under services. How do I program the phone? I have 3 of the i2004 phones. I beleive Rev. 1

while the phone is booting up you will see it say Nortel on

the screen, you have to do it kind of fast, while it says

Nortel push the soft keys one at a time from left to right.

this will get you into the set up menu.

registration options are under Services/IP terminals/Nortel

IP Terminals

Where do you turn on IP phone registration under IP telephony? I do not see it.
